1. "Deda Ena" is a school textbook written by Iakob Gogebashvili, first published in 1876. This book was innovative in Georgian pedagogy and is still considered a national educational treasure. It has been reprinted 33 times.

2. April 14, 1978: On this day, the Georgian people fought to defend the Georgian language when the Soviet government tried to impose Russian as the state language of Georgia. After a large-scale demonstration in Tbilisi, the Georgian language was restored to official status.
